Dr. Goat Foot - Bass

Dr Goat Foot is busy writing and recording his debut album with The Carpathian Inflammable Shadow Puppet Orchestra, which is a blend of classical, funk, folk, jazz, and prog rock, featuring many interesting musical guests.

'The Goat' first picked up his bass 25 years ago, and has since played with some of the greatest musicians on the planet. He spent a brief time in Nashville learning bass from Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey and Adam Nitti, to name but a few. Then was later denied a scholarship at a London music college for being "too flash" in the final auditions, and when he tried a year later was told he was "too good". It was during a chance meeting a year and a half ago that 'The Goat' met arranger and producer extraordinaire Richard Niles. At that time 'The Goat' had practically given up the bass, but after Richard was shown a Dr Goat Foot YouTube bass solo video entitled 'Adventures In Hedgehog Land', Richard immediately put him in touch with Steve Hackett's drummer, Gary O'Toole, and together, with Polish violin virtuoso Basia Bartz, they became The Carpathian Inflammable Shadow Puppet Orchestra.
