Rob Taggart - Keyboard (Rumer)

Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music Rob has performed and recorded with Charlotte Church, Katie Melua, Ce-lo Green, Rumer, Just Jack, The Killers, Katherine Jenkins, Tony Hadley, Bootyluv, Gareth Gates, Rick Astley, ABC, The Crusaders…

...Georgie Fame, David Jordan, The Foundations, Paul Anka, Chris Norman as well as the West End theatre productions of Never Forget, Thriller- Live, Grease, Priscilla-Queen of the desert, Damon Albarn’s Monkey:journey to the west and the "Strictly come dancing" arena tour.

He was a member of the house band for three series of The Charlotte Church Show on Channel 4 which gave him the opportunity to work with the Sugarbabes, Nelly Furtardo, Amy Winehouse, Fergie, Sharleen Spiteri, Lucie Silvas, Mcfly, The Script, Solange Knowles, Alesha Dixon as well as composing some incidental music and the Series 2 theme tune. Rob has also worked on Just the two of us (BBC) Dance X (BBC) and X factor (ITV).

As an arranger Rob orchestrated for Australian boy band Human Nature for their “Symphony of Hits” album, which achieved platinum sales in Australia and consequently orchestrated for 2 HN tours. He has also arranged and conducted strings for “How do you solve a problem like Maria?” finalist Siobhan Dillon’s forthcoming debut album as well as the debut album for Fame Academy finalist Alistair Griffin.

As a writer for Soho's One More Music Company Rob has composed and arranged music for advertising campaigns including Hewlett-Packard, Ford Focus, Plusnet, Best Buy, Magners, Talk Talk, Hellmans, Save the Children, Subway, maggi, Oasis, Boots, Toblerone, British Gas and PC World.
